These are three words that describe Dave Wharton.

 

Dave’s commitment to hard work and focus have led him on an incredible journey. Through dedication and passion, Dave competed at the highest level in the sport of swimming achieving an Olympic Silver Medal as well as setting several World Records. He embraces the opportunity to coach young kids, teenagers, collegiate athletes and deaf swimmers who love the sport as much as he does. As the Director of New Albany Parks and Recreation, Dave works with the community to provide active opportunities for everyone. We look forward to seeing how Dave will share his unique experiences with us in April!
