Diya Naik is a freshman at New Albany High School who enjoys science, literature, music, and, of course, art. Ever since she was a kid, she has found art to be a crucial aspect of her growth. She strongly believes that art helps us innovate, see the world from different perspectives, and create works that deeply connect us as a society. Yet in today’s world, art is sometimes seen merely as a hobby. Through her TED talk, Diya will share just a few of the lessons art has taught her, and how they lead to personal development inside and outside of art.
